We arrived in The Seychelles for a 9 day stay as the last stop on our honeymoon. Time for sun and the beach and lots of flats fishing for Clay!!
Our first few nights we stayed at the Four Seasons. An absolutely amazing resort!! One of the best I have ever stayed at. Each room is its own villa with large pool and very large bathroom and amazing deck. The resort is built into the hillside – you are transported via buggies around the resort which is a great way to move around. Just ring the bell and the buggy arrives:)
We spent one day at the beach which was amazing – the water is crystal clear blue and the sand is like powder. The beach staff keeps you cool with cold towels and yummy fruits.
We spent a couple of days in Cape Town as a finale to our South African adventure. We stayed at Cape Grace – a lovely hotel right at the water front.
The hotel could not have been nicer and more accommodating – they have a great fitness facility and spa and 2 nice restaurants – Signale and Bascule. We ate at both. Lunch at Bascule was very low-key with great views of Table Mountain and a Tapas menu. Signale was much more formal – more about wine pairing and tastings. (more…)
We arrived in Hermanus from the bush by way of Cape Town. Hermanus is a small beach town about an hour South East of Cape Town. We stayed for a couple of nights at Birkenhead House a related property to Royal Malewane.
Finally starting to wear a bit more “girlie clothes.” Definitely a Dress and White jeans type of place.
