So now that I live in Jackson – I have taken up some out doorsy sports. (Well, I am trying to take up some out doorsy activities for my Husband.)
I have started fly fishing on the snake river. – Key Word “Started.”
Not only is it a fun sport – the scenery is beautiful. And don’t worry its catch and release. So the fish are safe.
And with starting a new sport – I get to make some fun additions to my wardrobe. Although I am still working on finding the right mix of fashion and function for fly – fishing my MAIN piece of advice is wear LAYERS and make sure you have pretty nail polish!(more…)
As a recent bride and lover of clothes I fell in love with my dress – which I think is a very normal emotional reaction. On our wedding day I wore a Monique L’Huillier Lace gown named “Illusion” http://www.moniquelhuillier.com This was the first dress I tried on. It was ideal for a mountain wedding. I wanted coverage but also wanted to be timeless and classic. I felt perfect from the minute I put it on till the end of the evening.
But now what — I will never be able to wear this piece of art again. I want another bride to wear it some day and feel as wonderful as I did. I will keep you posted on where it goes.
Welcome to my new blog- Jillymoorhead.com. This is a very exciting adventure for me and I hope you will join in the fun!
I recently moved to Jackson Hole, Wy from New York City. This is quite a change for a city girl, who worked in fashion for the past 15 years and grew up in Chicago.
The change is bitter sweet – I moved to Jackson to marry the man of my dreams – Clay but I was leaving behind New York City – City of love, fashion, and beauty.
Clay and I met in New York City 7 years ago and dated long distance New York to Jackson for the past 3 years. During our years of dating, visiting Jackson was always a wonderful treat because I got to experience the beauty of Jackson Hole as well as all the wonderful “outdoorsy” activities it has to offer. However, I was always able to come back to New York and get my fix for style.
Last summer Clay proposed and in November I packed my bags and moved to Jackson! No turning back now:)
I decided to start a blog to keep in touch with all things fashionable, give a look inside the beauty of Jackson, WY, and illustrate my love of pretty things near and far.
